Webinar | Data Governance in the BRICS

The Data Governance in the BRICS webinar was organized by FGV Direito Rio’s Centre for Technology and Society in partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and aimed to provide an overview of the data governance architecture of the BRICS countries, with a special focus on the intersection between data and AI regulations. The debate focused on the themes of moving towards “a fair and equitable global framework for data governance”, and also on a reconciliation with Data Governance and Data Sovereignty.
